Wow! I know it's still a work in progress, but I love how the sketchiness of the hand & gun blends into the rendered face. I look forward to seeing the finished piece!

Thanks guys, I'm still working on this piece and got a lot further with it yesterday. Also received some really good feedback from someone huge in the industry, so that's good. Right now I'm starting a humorous piece for the Standard, due tomorrow.

I'll try to post more updates on this soon. And yes, I can sell prints of this when it's finished, but it will have to be without the punisher logo on his shirt.

Good morning from Paris mister Seiler. As usual I check your blog almost everyday. Your work is amazing. M. Seiler I have 3 questions for you:
How old are you?
I have a new paint on my blog (http://theb.over-blog.com/) what do you think about it?
Why do you draw caricature?

Merci bonne continuation et à bientôt.

Great painting Jason... kind of like Kid Rock's less-than-nice brother. btw you sure you don't have a twin brother helping you with all this volume?

Some answers for Theb:

1. I'm 30 years old.

2. I've checked out your blog and made a comment. You do some nice work, and I like your use of color on your most recent piece. Keep it up!!!

3. I draw caricature and humorous illustration because it's what interests me. Plain and simple. I've been getting into graphic novel type stuff recently and that's a lot of fun too. Caricature can be used in so many different ways, help tell a story or relate to the viewer in a number of ways. I've been drawing caricature since I was about 10 years old. I don't know why I started, just something I did. One thing I know is that I have always LOVED drawing people how they "really" look.

Thanks Bill your comments are always great! We should get together soon to paint or sketch at a Starbucks. I'll be leaving for San Diego soon . . . we'll have to meet when I get back.
